Italian Colleges (XIX-XX cen.)

This collection is the result of a collaboration between the Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies and the Historical Archives of the Euro-Mediterranean Province of the Society of Jesus. The pictures testified the life inside Mondragone College (today the University of Tor Vergata) and represent a source of exceptional valueas they are able to give us information on parts of the building that no longer exist, as well as news of daily school activities between the end of the XIX and the first quarter of XX century.
The Mondagone college had its own periodical, which can be consulted on the dedicated page within the Jesuit Studies Digital Collection library. For more insights on the archival documentation, we suggest to check on the digitalized inventory on the World of Jesuit Archive page.
